Subject Matter Specialist – Operations (CA Inter / Commerce Background Preferred)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Subject Matter Specialist – Operations with 0–5 years of experience, ideally with a CA Inter qualification or commerce background. The role combines operational analysis, financial and data reporting, and process improvement. You will use advanced Excel skills, assist in MIS reporting, and support team members while gaining exposure to cross-functional business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for operational and financial processes.
- Analyse operational data, prepare MIS and financial reports, and generate actionable insights using advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Macros, Power Query).
- Support and mentor team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in documentation, internal controls, training, and knowledge transfer within the team.
- Support audit, compliance, and reporting initiatives as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CA Inter qualified or Bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance/related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in operations, process analysis, finance, or accounting-related roles.
- Strong advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Basic people management or team coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excel or analytics certification.
- Exposure to ERP/BI tools or financial software.
