Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Technical Project & Plant Engineering
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support the preparation of Detailed Technical Project Reports (DPR) and contribute to plant engineering, feasibility analysis, cost estimation, and production process planning. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary inputs including mechanical, civil, structural, and utility infrastructure for industrial project development.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop Detailed Technical Project Reports (DPR) for industrial projects
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk assessment analysis
- Perform plant engineering activities including machinery selection and cost estimation
- Design and optimize production process flow for efficient plant operations
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and support plant layout development
- Estimate and coordinate civil, structural, utilities, and infrastructure costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, civil, and electrical engineering
- Support project planning, budgeting, and technical documentation
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of plant engineering and industrial project planning
- Experience in cost estimation and techno-economic analysis
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and plant layout design
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation and infrastructure costing
- Ability to perform risk assessment and feasibility evaluation
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / estimation tools preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Experience in industrial projects, EPC, or plant setup is an advantage
Preferred Experience
- DPR preparation for manufacturing / processing plants
- Exposure to utilities planning (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, etc.)
- Knowledge of project costing and tender documentation
