Role Summary
The IFS Cloud Supply Chain Functional Consultant designs, configures, and deploys end‑to‑end supply chain processes on IFS Cloud—covering source‑to‑contract & procure‑to‑pay, supplier relationship management, inventory & warehouse operations, order management, planning (demand/S&OP and ATP/CTP), logistics/transportation, and analytics—ensuring integrated operations with Finance, Manufacturing, Projects, and Service.
Key Responsibilities
- 1) Process Analysis & Understand Solution Design
- Lead discovery workshops across procurement/SRM, inventory & warehouse, order management, planning, and logistics; produce AS‑IS/TO‑BE models and functional designs.
- Define the cross‑module operating model that connects Supply Chain with Finance, Manufacturing, Projects, and Service for one‑truth transactions and reporting.
- 2) Procurement & SRM (Source‑to‑Pay)
- Understand the configuration, test and Validate source‑to‑contract (category management, sourcing events/e‑auctions, tender evaluation), supplier onboarding, performance/quality audits, and catalog/punch‑out self‑service.
- Understand the configuration, test and Validate operational procurement (requisitions → POs → receipts → invoicing) with spend controls, analytics, and sustainability considerations.
- 3) Inventory & Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Configure inventory control, lot/batch & UoM conversions, hazardous/dangerous goods data, replenishment, picking/packing, and warehouse layout optimization.
- Enable traceability and valuation policies aligned with Finance for real‑time stock visibility.
- 4) Order‑to‑Cash (Order Management)
- Understand the configuration, test and Validate the process of order promising with Available‑to‑Promise / Capable‑to‑Promise (ATP/CTP), pricing/promotions, returns, and intercompany flows as applicable.
- 5) Planning (S&OP, Demand, Distribution)
- Understand the configuration, test and Validate the process of demand planning, collaborative forecasting, inventory replenishment, and distribution planning; define planning calendars, hierarchies, and policies (e.g., DDMRP if in scope).
- 6) Logistics & Transportation
- Map and configure transportation/route planning, freight tracking, and warehouse‑to‑logistics handshakes; align with customer/site constraints.
- 7) Data, Integrations & Reporting
- Own data migration templates for suppliers, items/products, catalogs, inventory balances, and open orders; define validations and cutover plan.
- Specify and validate integrations across Finance, Manufacturing, 3PL/WMS, TMS, engineering/PLM, and collaboration portals; define reconciliation controls.
- Set up KPIs & dashboards using IFS analytics (e.g., IFS Business Reporter, supply‑chain KPI libraries) for operational and executive reporting.
- 8) Testing, Enablement & Hypercare
- Prepare end‑to‑end SIT/UAT scenarios (P2P, Inventory/WMS, OTC, Planning), trace defects to closure, and harden master data & controls.
- Deliver super‑user and end‑user training, SOPs, and role‑based access; drive adoption of self‑service procurement and efficient warehouse execution.
- Provide hypercare with a focus on order cycle time, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, and delivery SLAs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–12 years in supply‑chain ERP consulting with 2+ IFS Cloud SCM implementations spanning P2P/SRM, Inventory & WMS, Order Management, and Planning.
- Hands‑on configuration in SRM (onboarding, sourcing/e‑auction, audits), catalogs/punch‑out, inventory/lot‑batch/UoM, warehouse operations, ATP/CTP, and distribution planning.
- Experience integrating IFS Supply Chain with Finance/COGS, Manufacturing, and external WMS/TMS/PLM; strong reconciliation & controls.
- Strong documentation (FDD/CRIM), migration & cutover, UAT leadership, and governance skills.
Preferred Skills
- Procurement spend analytics and category management exposure; supplier quality processes (NCR/CAPA/audits).
- Knowledge of Sales & Operational planning/demand planning practices and KPI libraries for supply‑chain performance.
- IFS Academy learning/journey or certification in Supply Chain.
