JD-Electrical Harness Design (Economy/Business class Seats)
Design of 3D Electrical harness routing and definition models in Aerospace Seatings
- Maximum of 4 years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent engineering degree
- Involve in design and development of Electrical system installation (ESI)/Integration for Aircraft seating & Front row monument programs.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in CATIA V5 workbenches like Generative shape design Part design, Assembly, Drafting and Generative sheet metal is preferred.
- Electrical Harness design experience in Business class seats is preferred as priority. Manual routing experience as per customer process/standards is preferred
- Responsible for customer technical interaction & Conducting quality reviews
- Finalization of cable length definition for seat prototype/final production
- Create or update 2D documentation for electrical schematic(diagram), Block diagram, harness component documentation and other technical documents.
- Ensure all designs and drawings meet applicable guidelines and internal design standards.
- Assists manufacturing/assembly during prototype, pilot, and production.
- Provide concepts/proposal in harness routing w.r.t seat electrical/mechanical structures/DMU
- Definition and coordination of electrical and mechanical interfaces with the system manufacturer, relevant departments and approval bodies.
- Hands on experience in PLM tool is required. Teamcenter experience with ECN/ECR is added advantage
- Known to Catia V5 SKE system & knowledge on mechanical sheet metal bracket feasibility
- Knowledge of 3DPDF creation will be added advantage
- Preparation of parts lists and production drawings of the electrical installation.
- Good written and oral communication skills - must be able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
- Good interpersonal skills - must work well on a team
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities includes updates, changes, and key decisions.
