EcoSys Consultant implements, configures, and supports the Hexagon EcoSys enterprise project performance software, focusing on project controls, cost management, and scheduling. They customize modules, develop reports, and integrate EcoSys with ERP/scheduling systems (e.g., SAP, P6) to improve client project visibility, often requiring 10+ years of experience in EPC or project-intensive industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Configuration: Lead full life-cycle implementations, including requirement gathering, system design, and configuration of EcoSys modules (Cost, Budget, Change, Progress).
- Technical Support & Integration: Develop custom reports, dashboards, and API-based integrations with systems like SAP, Oracle, and Primavera P6.
- System Administration: Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot EcoSys production and non-production environments.
- Consulting & Training: Advise clients on best practices for project controls, conduct user training, and create documentation.
- Data Migration: Perform data migration and validation during implementation projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in Hexagon EcoSys (minimum 10 years).
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of project cost controls, Earned Value Management (EVM), budgeting, and forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, API integration, and database management.
- Experience: Previous experience in consulting, software implementation, or as an SME in industries like Oil & Gas, EPC, or Construction.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
