We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Content Manager duties include producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, formulating content strategies and managing a content team, among other tasks.
Content Managers should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online.
Some of the things you will be doing
- Produce and deploy required collateral within an Agile “high growth scale-up business” software development environment that meets organisational branding
- Develop a deep understanding of our platform and solutions and its technical adaptability and translate this for our growing operational team to improve implementation and ongoing maintenance
- Establish user-friendly content that resonates with our users ensuring they understand how our solutions can be used to make their life easier
- Proactively collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for knowledge improvements, this could include obtaining feedback through direct contact, surveys, support requests, etc from internal operations or customers and acting on this feedback

The required skills, experience and qualifications for this role include
Knowledge and experience
- 5+ years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
- Strong experience writing client facing documentation in a technology environment
- Proven experience in the development, publishing and deployment of online web-based documentation
- Able to prepare project plans/stories, also set priorities and estimates for the required work
- Able to prepare Windows environments and install desktop or online software
- Produce documentation primarily through independent analysis and research
- Able to assist agile development teams by reviewing UI/UX design and proactively testing key workflows
- Attention to detail
- Business to Business experience
- Able to work autonomously and at a senior level across multiple product and stakeholder groups
Skills
- MS Office, Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Digital adoption tools such as walkme, toonimo, apty
- Version control systems
- Online help publishing tools
- Desktop publishing, graphics editing, electronic publishing and HTML skills
- Application lifecycle management software
